But sponsorship goes beyond meeting needs. Through letters and prayer, you can build a relationship with your sponsored child and remind them they are seen, known, and loved.
This is bigger than one weekend.
Central is building long-term relationships with children, families, and communities in Kenya. Through sponsorship, prayer, letters, and trips, we get to keep showing up.

How much does it cost to sponsor a child?
$40 a month
What does my sponsorship provide?
Education, nutritious meals, medical care, spiritual development, and ongoing encouragement.
Will I get to know my sponsored child?
Yes. You'll have opportunities to communicate through MOHI's app, learn about your sponsored child and their family, and encourage them as they grow.
How long is the commitment?
Children in developing countries often do not start school at the same age as children in the United States, but begin school once it becomes available to them. Once recruited into our program, a child will begin in the grade best suited to their education level rather than age. In most cases, children can be recruited into our program as young as preschool age and can remain in our program up to a year after graduating from high school. A child is eligible for sponsorship as long as they remain a part of the MOHI program.
What happens after I sponsor?
In the following weeks, after MOHI receives your completed sponsorship card, you will receive an email notifying you to set up your online account. Once your online account is set up, you will then have the ability to start communicating with your sponsored child immediately through the MOHI app. You will also receive a new sponsorship packet in the mail that will welcome you to the MOHI family, provide a child profile card with additional information on your sponsored child, and share more details regarding our sponsorship program.
Can my family sponsor a child together?
Yes, your family can sponsor a child together. However, only 1 person needs to use their information to commit to sponsorship the child. Then once you have set up your MOHI account, you can share your login information with your family so you guys can communicate with your sponsored child.
Can I meet my sponsored child?
Yes! Central offers Outreach trips to Kenya regularly throughout the year and during this trip, participants get the opportunity to spend time and serve alongside their sponsored child. Visit here to learn more about our upcoming trips: Upcoming Outreach Kenya Trips
Where does my sponsorship money go?
Your monthly sponsorship money goes directly to MOHI. Central does not handle of this.
