Transform Lives Through Hope in Christ
Join us for a life-changing trip to Kenya, where we'll partner with Missions of Hope International (MOHI), a Christ-centered, Kenyan based agency serving kids, their families, and communities in areas throughout Kenya.
About Our Partner
Founded by Wallace and Mary Kamau in 2000, MOHI began with a single school for 50 kids in Nairobi's Mathare Valley slums and has since grown to operate more than 33 schools, impacting tens of thousands of families and transforming the lives of over 32,000 kids. MOHI's goal is to alleviate the effects of extreme poverty by empowering individuals to transform their families and communities through holistic hope centers that provide education, health care, vocational skills training, microfinance loans, counseling, and other services.
We have an opportunity to come alongside this growing and impactful Kenyan-based nonprofit to help empower, restore, educate, and redeem kids and communities.
What to Expect
Your partnership will help facilitate holistic transformation in urban slums and remote, rural areas of Kenya where resources are extremely limited. During this trip, you'll have opportunities to:
-Meet and build relationships with kids and MOHI's passionate Kenyan staff
-Experience community visits
-Visit MOHI schools, health clinics, and vocational training centers
-Tour schools and witness firsthand the transformation taking place
-Experience authentic Kenyan culture and hospitality- especially through singing, dancing, and tea time!
