School of Advanced Leadership Training

We are excited to announce School of Advanced Leadership Training (SALT) at Central. Central Christian Church is partnering with Hope International University to provide an opportunity for people at Central to invest in their future leadership and education.

SALT is a series of university courses offered at Central and taught by Central staff. You can earn up to 12 units of credit transferrable toward an undergraduate or graduate degree at Hope International University and most accredited Christian universities for only $100/unit. You may also choose to audit these courses as a deeper study of the Bible instead of for credit. After completing 12 units in the SALT program, (four 3-unit courses), each student will receive a Certificate of Ministry from Hope International University.

The cost per class is only $325 (plus the cost of textbooks). Space is limited, so sign up today!

Old Testament Overview – History and Literature of Ancient Israel

An overview of the history and literature of the Old Testament. Students will be introduced to basic resources and methodologies for study. Relationship and significance of the Old Testament to the New Testament and the Church will be emphasized.

Life of Christ – Jesus and the Kingdom Among Us 

Students explore the purpose, structure, content, theological claims, and enduring significance of Matthew's Gospel. Special attention is given to Matthew's presentation of Jesus' origin and identity, the nature and content of his Kingdom proclamation, and the facts and significance of his crucifixion and resurrection.
